Ministry of Railways, Southern Railway, Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Chennai has published notification for the recruitment of Cultural Quota and Scouts & Guides Quota Posts for Chennai, Tiruchchirappalli, Madurai, Palakkad, Thiruvananthapuram and Salem Divisions. Eligible candidates can send applications on or before 23-12-2013

Total No of Posts: 16

Name of the Quota:

  1. Cultural: 02 Posts (Classical Dance, Instrumental-Veena)

  2. Scouts & Guides: 14 Posts

Age Limit :- As On 01/01/2014 ( For UR - 18 to 30 years) (OBC - 18 to 33 years) (SC/ST - 18 to 35 years)

Pay Scale :- Rs. 5200 – 20,200 Per Month.

Application Fee :- The examination fee of A 40/- (Rupees Forty only) for post with grade pay of A 1,900/- and A 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) for post with grade pay of A 1,800/- is payable either in the form of Demand Drafts (DD) / Indian Postal Orders (IPO), drawn in favour of 'Assistant Personnel Officer / Recruitment', payable at Chennai. ---- SC/ST candidates, Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Disabilities, Women candidates, Minority* candidates and candidates belonging to Economically Backward Classes** are exempted from payment of examination fees.
