APSC Assistant Engineer Recruitment 2013 www.apsc.nic.in : Assam Public Service Commission invites applications from eligible Indian Citizens for the post of Assistant Engineer in the disciplines of Electrical, Mechanical to fill up of 22 vacancies. The eligible candidates should apply before last date : 24th December 2013. 

Detail of Vacancies:-  Total 22 Posts

1- Assistant Engineer (Electrical)    - 08 Posts  (under Irrigation Dept.)
Qualification: A Candidate must pass BE Degree in concerned discipline from any institute recognized by AICTE.

 

2- Assistant Engineer (Mechanical)  - 13 Posts  (under Irrigation Dept.)
Qualification: A Candidate must pass BE Degree in concerned discipline from any institute recognized by AICTE.

3- Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) - 01 Posts  (under Mines & Minerals Dept.)  

Age Limit:-  Candidate should not be less than 21 years and not above 38 years as on 01-01-2013. The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 2 Years for Ex-serviceman.

Educational Qualification :

i) A Candidate must pass BE Degree in concerned discipline from any institute recognized by AICTE. 

ii) Graduate in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from any University recognized by the Government.

Pay Scale:- Rs. 12,000/- to Rs. 40,000/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- plus other allowances as admissible under the Rules.

Selection Procedure : The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of performance in Written test / Interview. 

Application Fee :-  Applications which are signed by the candidates and accompanied by all particulars including original Treasury Challan Only for Rs. 5.00 (Rs. 2.50 for SC and ST) as application fee showing name of post and Department and also full Head of Account ‘NON TAX REVENUE-OTHER NON TAX REVENUE-0051-PSC, 102-STATE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION APPLICATION/ EXAMINATION FEE RECEIPT OF A.P.S.C.’ as called for in the application form supplied by the Commission only shall be considered and candidates fulfilling all the terms of the advertisement of the respective posts shall be called for a Screening test or Viva-voce interview where necessary as decided by the Commission.
