Birsa Agricultural University, Ranchi issued notification announcing holding walk-in Interviews between 18 October 2013 and 22 October 2013 for filling up 35 posts in various disciplines under 20 different schemes on contractual basis. .  Emoluments
For RA    : Rs. 23000 for Non-Ph.D.
                : Rs. 24000 for Ph.D.
 For SRF   : Rs. 18000 for Veterinary Science and animal Husbandry
                : Rs. 16000 for all others



 Eligibility Conditions
 Age Limit: (as on 1 January 2013)
For RA    : 40 years 

For SRF & Others  : 35 years 
(Age limit relax-able by 3 years for female candidates of all categories, by 2 years for male candidates of BC II & BC I category and by 5 years for all ST / SC candidates)

 Qualifications:
For RA    : Ph.D. in relevant subject OR Master’s degree in relevant subject or equivalent with at least 2 years research experience (fellowship / Associate-ship / Training / other engagements).
Published research paper will be desirable.

 For SRF: Master’s degree in relevant subject
 For others: refer notification


 Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Interview (walk-in).
The engagement will be on contract basis for a period of one year / till the project lasts, whichever is earlier.

 How to Apply: Interested eligible candidates should report at the Interview venue at 1000 hours on the scheduled day. The candidates are required to carry with them 5 copies of their applications, in the prescribed format, along with attested copies of required documents.
 They would also be required to produce all documents in Original for verification.
