Odisha Public Service Commission (opsc) Recruitment for Odisha Civil Service Exam 2011 - 2013

Odisha Public Service Commission invited online applications for Odisha State Civil Services Examination 2011 from the candidates who were eligible for the year 2007, 2008, 2009 & 2010 before the changed rules came included i.e. 2011 rules.

Qualificaiton : A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from any University incorporated by an Act of the Central or a State Legislature in India or an Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament or deemed to be a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or a Foreign University approved by the Central Government

 Age Limit : Provided that the candidates who were within the prescribed upper age limit (i.e. under thirty-two years of age) as on 1st January,2007, 1st January,2008, 1st January,2009 and 1st January,2010

Examination Fee :  A candidate is required to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred) only in shape of deposit of the amount in the Government Treasury under the Head “0051-PSC-105-State PSC-Examination Fee” or account payee Bank Draft/Pay Order drawn in favour of Special Secretary, Odisha Public Service Commission payable at any scheduled Bank of Cuttack. Treasury Challan with wrong mention of Head of Account or wrong mention of designation of the Authority in the Bank Draft/Pay Order shall not be accepted. 
The Original Treasury Challan/Bank Draft/Pay Order as the case may be, must be sent to the Commission alongwith the short application. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes of Odisha only are exempted from payment of this fee. Neither claim for refund of fee will be entertained nor the fee will be held in reserve for any other recruitment/purpose

Selection Process: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in examination (Preliminary/ Main/ Personality Test/ Interview).
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply online from 22-10-2013 to 22-11-2013 by 11.59 PM there after pay application fee through Challan in any SBI on or before 26-11-2013 and take the printout of hard copy for future use.

Instructions for Online Application:
1. First candidates have to scan their photo, signature, left thumb impression.
2. Log on to www.opsconline.gov.in and read all the instructions & guidelines carefully and then start filling Online Application process.
3. Select the ‘Apply Online’ link besides the desired post.
4. Fill in all marked details carefully and upload previously scanned photograph, signature and thumb impression and click on ‘Submit’ button
5. On successful submission of the Online Application Form, a Unique Registration ID will be displayed on the screen as well as on the top of the application form.
6. Take print copy of finally submitted application form, Challan and make payment as per details mentioned above.
