Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Eastern Region invites applications for the recruitment of Group B & C Posts. Eligible candidates can send applications in the prescribed format on or before 29-07-2013 by 5.00 PM and 05-08-2013 by 5.00 PM for remote areas. Name of the Vacancies:

1. Junior Zoological Assistant: 01 Post
2. Scientific Assistant- I: 02 Posts
3. Sub-Editor (Bengali): 01 Post
4. Library and Information Assistant (Reprography): 01 Post Age 

Required: Applicants age limit is below 25 years for S.No 1 Post; 18-25 years for S.No 2, 3 Posts; 18-28 years for S.No 4 Post as on 29-07-2013. Relaxation is applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Science for S.No 1 Post; B.Sc (Agriculture) for S.No 2 Post; Graduation with Degree in Librarianship (BLIS or MLIS) for S.No 3 Post; Bachelor’s degree with Physics and Chemistry with certificate in Photography for S.No 4 Post with relevant experience.

Academic Eligibility: Applicants have to possess Bachelor’s Degree in Science for S.No 1 Post; B.Sc (Agriculture) for S.No 2 Post; Graduation with Degree in Librarianship (BLIS or MLIS) for S.No 3 Post; Bachelor’s degree with Physics and Chemistry with certificate in Photography for S.No 4 Post with related experience.

Shortlist Procedure: Applicants will be short listed based on Screening Test/ Interview/ Personality Test/ Skill Test/ Proficiency Test

Fee Details: Applicants need to pay the fee of Rs.50/- in the form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) which are available at the counter of all Post Offices. SC/ ST, Physically Handicapped, Female and EX-Serviceman Job Seekers are exempted from the fees.
