Border Security Force (BSF) invites applications for the recruitment of
249 Group B & C Posts. Eligible candidates can send applications in
the prescribed format within 30 days from the date of issue of
advertisement and 45 days for remote areas. More details regarding

Age Limit: Candidates
age limit is 22 to 28 years for S.No 1, 2 Posts; 20 to 25 years for S.No
3 to 6 Posts as on last date for receipt of application (not the
closing date for remote areas). Relaxation is applicable as per the
rules.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess 10+2 with University and Second Class Master
Certificate for S.No 1 Post; 10+2 with First Class Engine Driver
Certificate for S.No 2 Post; Matric with Serang Certificate for S.No 3
Post; Matric with Second Class Engine Driver Certificate for S.No 4
Post; Matric with ITI Diploma in Motor Mechanic for S.No 5 Post; Matric
with Swimming knowledge for S.No 6 Post with relevant experience.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on Written Examination, Documentation
and Physical Measurement, Physical Efficiency Test, Trade Test,
Interview and Medical Examination.
Examination Fee:
Candidates must pay the fee of Rs.50/- in the form of Demand Draft/
Postal Order drawn in favor of the respective Examination Centre
mentioned in the notification payable at respective SBI/ Post Office at
the location or nearby station. SC/ ST/ BSF candidates, Ex-Servicemen
are exempted from the fee.
How to Apply:
Interested candidates can send applications and admit card in the
prescribed format along with attested copies of all relevant
certificates, 03 recent passport size photographs duly attested, two
self address envelopes affixed with postage stamps of Rs.39/-, Demand
Draft/ Postal Order enclosed in an envelope super scribed with the name
of the post applies so as to reach postal address mentioned in the
notification within 30 days from the date of issue of advertisement and
45 days for remote areas.
